PETER E. BOGGS, 98, of South Point, OH, went to be with the Lord on March 25, 2025. Born June 22, 1926, he grew up in Michigan and graduated from Ashland High School in 1944. Pete proudly served in the Army Air Force and later managed electrical operations for General Westmoreland's headquarters in Vietnam. A 75-year member of IBEW Local 317, he was their longest-standing member. Pete and his late wife, Helen, cherished the outdoors, owning Birch Crest Cabins in Michigan. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and bowling. He was a jokester and a vivid storyteller who loved being the life of the party. His energy and positive attitude were contagious, and his smile could light up any room. He truly loved life. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, stepsons, and siblings, he is survived by stepchildren Teresia (Paul) VanHoose, Carla Walsh, and Richard Reynolds; sister Bernita; and many grandchildren, great - grandchildren, and great - great - grandchildren.
